The Sociology of Motherhood Starter Bundle

An introduction to the frameworks, tools, and cultural analysis at the heart of the sociology of motherhood

ON SALE UNTIL DECEMBER 31st 2025

This bundle is for you if…

You’ve felt drawn toward my work - the Perfect Mother Myth, matrescence, identity, and the cultural systems shaping mothers - but haven’t yet stepped into the deeper layers of this field.

Or maybe:

•You’re curious about working with mothers in 2026

•You’re already supporting mothers, but want deeper language

•You’re exploring your own identity in motherhood

•You want to understand the cultural conditioning that shapes mothers’ experiences

•You want tools that help you personally and professionally

•You want a grounded, accessible way to begin

What's included...

A curated trio of resources designed to deepen your understanding, expand your lens, and give you practical tools you can use straight away.

1. Unshackled Course

A self-paced exploration of the cultural expectations placed on mothers.

Unshackled helps you understand how the Perfect Mother Myth shapes identity, release internalised expectations, reconnect with your own values, and create space for choice, meaning, and self-compassion. This course supports both your personal and professional understanding of the cultural layer of motherhood.

2. The Practitioner's Guide to Spotting the Perfect Mother Myth

Learn the 10 hidden signs that mothers are struggling under systems, not personal failings.

This guide helps you recognise how the Perfect Mother Myth shows up in real conversations, behaviours, and everyday interactions. Essential for practitioners, coaches, support workers, or anyone wanting clearer insight into the social pressures mothers navigate.

3. The LISTEN Framework Training

A practical, step-by-step method for recognising and responding to the Perfect Mother Myth in real time.

This training gives you a structured, sociologically informed approach to working with mothers. You’ll deepen your ability to identify cultural conditioning, support mothers with clarity, and hold space using a systemic lens.

This is a good fit if you're...

•A mother exploring identity, meaning, or “something stirring”
•A practitioner who wants deeper tools + language
•A coach or counsellor working with mothers
•Someone considering shifting into mother-support work
•A birth worker, postpartum doula, perinatal professional
•Someone feeling the impact of the Perfect Mother Myth in your own life
•Someone drawn to this work but unsure where to begin
• Someone wanting a clearer sense of whether mother-support work is right for them

How this bundle can support you...

Understanding motherhood through a sociological lens changes what you see, how you feel, and the way you show up. It helps you understand the WHY  behind so many of the feelings, tensions, and expectations that shape modern motherhood, and offers a way of making sense of your own experiences through a wider, more compassionate frame.

This bundle is designed to support your personal insight and reflection, helping you:

• Recognise the cultural expectations that influence how you see yourself as a mother (or future mother-support practitioner)
• Understand the origins of guilt, pressure, and overwhelm from a systemic, not self-blame, perspective
• Find language for experiences that may have felt invisible or “hard to articulate
• Make sense of identity shifts, matrescence, and the emotional landscape of motherhood
• See societal patterns more clearly, so your self-understanding feels deeper, more coherent, and more validating
• Connect your lived experience with the bigger picture, instead of feeling like you’re navigating it alone
• Build clarity about what draws you to this field, and whether you feel called to explore this work more deeply in 2026
• The LISTEN Framework included in this bundle offers a structured way to notice how the Perfect Mother Myth shows up in everyday conversations - supporting your own awareness and reflection, and helping you understand what is happening socially beneath the surface.

This bundle is about you - your insight, your grounding, and your exploration of the cultural systems shaping motherhood today.

FAQS

Is this program for mothers, or those who work in mother-care?
Both - if you're a mother!  The people I mostly work with in my programs work within the field of mother-support as health professionals, coaches, and creatives, but this program is for all mothers.  It is not a professional development course, but is the perfect entryway into professional development for those who currently work within mother-centric fields or hope to.  If you do work within mother-support, please know that the materials and resources in this program are intended for your own personal use only, and aren't to be distributed within your own practice or business.

Is this the Certification?
No, this bundle is a precursor to the Certification. It gives you a foundational understanding of the sociological lens - helpful whether or not you plan to join the Certification in the future.

Is it self-paced?
Yes. Everything is available immediately after purchase.

Do you offer refunds?
All the material is immediately accessible upon enrolment and the resources are for you to download and keep. Refunds are not offered outside what is legally required by Australian law.
